. This one was fun to make! She started out simply asking for an arabian on a dark background...and it evolved from there. I'd make tentative suggestions, based on a statement from her that she wanted a sort of halloween-ish and dark feel, and she okayed them all - yay for letting my creativity run wild!
And so an innocent white arabian turned into this little monstrosity LOL. I asked about gore, and she said to "gore it up", but in the end, I shyed away from any real gore. Instead, I contented myself with morosely decorating my poor victim stock horse.
She's also affecting the water that she's running through, hence the name of the image. At first I thought she'd be turning it into blood
but blood is way to hard to do but I thought simply tainting the water crimson by her passing would be cool.
I've never drawn a red mane and tail before, but it actually isn't too hard. Sort of like drawing a chestnut mane and tail. xD
I really hope it didn't turn out too pink-looking, because it's supposed to be bright crimson!
I drew the horns on the back myself, hopefully they don't look to fake.
