My first and maybe only image of 2014. I guess I had just burned out. I felt like my art was starting to look the same and I think my viewers felt the same way. So I took a break. But recently my muse finally decided to stir and after realizing I only had two weeks of summer left, I thought I'd give Photoshop one more try.

15-20 hours of work later this is the result. I think I like it. I put more detail into this piece than I think I've put into any other of my works. I tried some new techniques, partially due to the fact that I had forgotten quite a bit. Amazing what an 8-month haitus can do.

Hopefully this is a new and creative concept. That's what I was aiming for. The little faerie horse is up to interpretation! My first idea was that its wings were going to be made out of light, but it came together a little differently than I had planned. I drew about 90% of them and the rest are vector textures.

Hello watchers and friends and anyone else who may stumble accross my page. It's been awhile. Since last year, actually, and it's August now.
I took what I thought would be a permanant break from DeviantArt and art in general. I'm briefly back though and I'm in the process of putting the finishing touches on one last piece of art. Or maybe not my last. Maybe during my hectic life (I graduated and I'm going to college whoot!) I'll find time for art again. My muse was dead for awhile, but I gathered up all the little bits that had slowly reappeared during my haitus and poured them into this upcoming piece. Maybe the same thing will happen again.

I hope you enjoy my latest and maybe last piece of artwork. I know I enjoyed making it.
